Artist's Description
Vibrant colors swirl together in a fluid, almost liquid-like motion, creating an abstract effect that suggests a cluster of flowers. The use of bright hues and the melting contours give the piece an energetic and dynamic appearance, stimulating the imagination to interpret the forms.
Being a gardener, I often see the mannerisms and habits of people in my flowers. This hydrangea growing in my garden looked like joy to me. The noisy, raucous, screaming joy that you hear when kindergarten kids burst out of the doors onto the playground for recess. Now that's joy!
