Description

A vividly colored, abstract image depicts three spherical floral buds connected by a stem, evoking a surreal and dreamy atmosphere. In his Encyclical Letter "Laudato Si' Of The Holy Father Francis, On Care For Our Common Home" released June, 2015, Pope Francis asks for one comprehensive solution to our environmental and social crisis.

He says, "Strategies for a solution demand an integrated approach to combating poverty, restoring dignity to the excluded, and at the same time protecting nature."

Unlike all other encyclicals that are addressed to the bishops of the Catholic Church, this encyclical from Pope Francis is addressed to every person on the planet. We are all called to care for creation.

In this image I acknowledge all of creation with the moon, humanity with the face of man, and nature with the flower buds waiting to burst with beauty. The star, of course, represents God, the Creator.
